Oh you guys. I just watched the readthrough of the 13th episode of The Middleman and, oh my god. Oh my god. That was fucking amazing. Sith lightning! The Middleman's real name! Quoting the Doctor! AMAZING. Seriously, my face hurts from how hard I was grinning. And it made me go from crying with lolz to just plain crying in a flash, with no downtime in between. It was like they went "lol this is never going to be seen, so let's just go hog fucking wild." And Badger was fucking hilarious. I fucking love that man.

(In the TV show that lives in my head, he plays the morally ambiguous guy. It is great, because there is both evil!Badger and good guy!Badger.)

In Plain Sight was amaaaaaaaazing. I just lol'd and lol'd and lol'd. And DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD:ed. Every day, I add about a hundred words to the fic I'm writing. lol never gonna get it done. I did write an entire fic in my head while I was grocery shopping today! And yet, I didn't bother to write it out when I got home and now I can't remember most of it, beyond the "it was hilarious and short and involved a marriage proposal" part.

Bones was okay enough, but there was not enough Sweets for my tastes. I really want to write lolzy cliché fic for the three of them. And yet, lol never gonna.

Still toooooooooooooootally in love with In Plain Sight. And by "In Plain Sight", I mean "Mary and Marshall." And I've totally hit the point of being crazy invested in a pairing where I'm going "Nooooooooo Marshall what are you doing do not make googoo eyes at other people :(" and "Noooooooooooooo Shelly don't be just out of a relationship and being all dorky with Marshall. :(" THE CRAZY SHIPPER IN ME IS ALWAYS JUST LURKING BELOW THE SURFACE. :(

And I've also hit the point where I'm just going :D? :D? about writing fic. And there's few enough fics and the characters are... um. Like, I keep getting intimdated out of writing Bones fic because Bones has such a specific voice. And there's no fucking way I could do that. Whereas I look at Mary and Marshall and Stan and Eleanor and etc etc and go "...yeah, I could probably do that." So, yeah. There's that.

Hello internet! I started watching In Plain Sight today and oh my, I have never gotten so ridiculous invested in a show so fast. It hits something like 95% of my narrative/character/relationship kinks. You guyyyyyyys Mary is so fucking wonderful and I love her. So fucking much. So fucking much. She is such a massive, cranky dick and it's fucking wonderful. And Marshall is adorable and they are each other's only friends in season one and oh my god I looooooove them.

At one point, we see Mary's cell's call log, and most of them are to Marshall. And they poke at each other (both literally and figuratively) all the fucking time. And argue and are sarcastic and mean-in-a-loving-way and *_____________* And when Mary's freaking out, and storms out of the... office... place... and Marshall goes to follow her, and their boss was like ">:( GET BACK HERE MARSHALL YOU HAVE WORK TO DO" Marshall was basically like "lol fuck you" and stayed with her until she was more or less okay.

And they work together all day for epic and ridiculously long work hours, and then there has been more than one episode with them hanging out with each other outside of work, which as far as I'm concerned, is tantamount to saying "and they hang out off work all the time" and hi, idk if you've realized this internet, but that's basically guaranteed to make me delighted in a relationship in a shippy way, even without all the other stuff.

Also, when Mary was kidnapped, when Marshall was like ">:( We're going to get her back" his voice broke and he looked like he was going to cry as he walked away. WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY, INTERNET, IS THAT OH MY GOD *____________*

In other news, who is writing stupid Bones fic right now? Me! (SORRY SK.)

TODAY WAS THE BEST DAY. Do you want to know why, internet? OF COURSE YOU DO. Because [personal profile] everysecondtuesday wrote me fic. Specifically, she wrote me Bones fic. SUPER SPECIFICALLY, SHE WROTE ME BONES/BOOTH/SWEETS FIC BECAUSE SHE IS THE BEST IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. So, internet, if you should desire to read a totally awesome, totally fucking adorable OT3 5x16 episode tag, HAVE AT IT:

Academic RUINATION as Illustrated by Flowchart by [personal profile] everysecondtuesday (Bones, Bones/Booth/Sweets, Teen and up)
Seriously, you guys, I love this fic with all my heart right now. It is lolzy and captures everything I love about the three of them. It's an episode tag for 5x16, in which Sweets makes a flowchart detailing why Bones and Booth are ment2b. And it is hilarious and adorable and wonderful.

Also, people of LJ! I have a zillion million DW codes, so if you want one, let me know.

Second Favorite Time of Year

Well, internet, my second favorite time of year has rolled around yet again. It's spring, so everyone's bought their permits and are burning their burnin' piles. The air smells like burning brush everywhere I go, and it is lovely.

It's also hit that time of year where I leave my windows rolled all the way down because I have no AC in my car, and having to get into a hot car when your only cooling method is open windows kind of sucks. Plus, it's not like I have anything worth any money in that car (including the car itself). I wonder how long it's going to be before I forget that they're open and a rainstorm soaks everything?

(hint: not long)

Also, yesterday I taught myself how to make animated gifs out of a snippet of video. It is pretty great! But also, I am pretty bad at it. What's an acceptable file size for one of those?

This is one of my most favorite scenes in Bones ever. )

MICHAEL: One evening, a patient was brought into my clinic in the middle of the night. He was tortured so badly I couldn’t believe he was still breathing. A man was with him. It was the man on your radio. I’ll never forget the voice. He put a gun to my head and explained to me that my patient had robbed him and that he wanted me to save him so the pain would last longer. I did what I could. He said to come here for my money — my blood money. There’s a place between life and death. Amazing how long a man can linger there.
PRESCOTT: That’s enough, all right? Okay. Bring everything upstairs. We’re getting out of here. Tony? Tony, can you hear me?
THUG: What the hell is going on?
MICHAEL: I know this guy. He’ll have people outside the bank, in your truck, and on your boat. You have no idea who you’re dealing with.
