Seriously, this show just keeps getting better and better. FOUR SEASONS IN, AND IT'S STILL GETTING MORE AMAZING OH MY GOD I LOVE IT.

So instead of doing any work today, and instead of continuing to watch In Plain Sight, I am... rewatching most of season one, this time along with [personal profile] shadowkitty. I MAKE EXCELLENT LIFE DECISIONS, INTERNET.

"I didn't particularly appreciate our stewardess hitting on my travel companion, just assuming we weren't a couple" still makes me lol and lol and lol because, Mary, you and Marshall aren't a couple. Also, the way Mary's kind of surprised whenever anyone tells her she's hot/pretty, is hilarious. I GET THE SENSE THAT SHE IS USUALLY TOO BUSY BEING A DICK TO PEOPLE TO GIVE THEM TIME TO COMPLIMENT HER. JUST A BIT.

So, yeah, how awesome would pretending-to-be-married/together fic be for any fandom this fandom? (HINT: TOTALLY AWESOME.) Someone should get right on that.

Also, have a meme that lets me talk about my favorite TV shows some more! )

Oh Castle, I can't believe that, while Beckett is being all detective-y, you are playing Indiana Jones. :D: I DESPERATELY WANT FIC ABOUT BECKETT AND ESPOSITO AND RYAN TROLLING CASTLE. DESPERATELY.

HEY INTERNET, GUESS WHAT MINOR TASK I LEARNED TO DO TODAY THAT I AM RIDICULOUSLY PROUD OF? If you guessed "make outlined text in GIMP" you are correct! So I have been making things like this and this. So I guess I know what I am going to be doing for the next forever. :D :D :D

I wish I had more interesting things to tell you, internet, but my life is not very interesting lately.

GUESS WHO IS WRITING BURN NOTICE FIC AS WE SPEAK? Well. It's not me. But theoretically it could be. In a few minutes. Maybe. WOOOOO.

Last night, I couldn't remember if I posted a post that day or not, so I was sitting here at 10PM going "THINK, SELF. THINK OF SOMETHING TO SAY. COME ON, MAYBE YOU CAN TALK ABOUT LOS- oh, right."

Man, my laptop hasn't overheated once since I took it apart to clean out the fan. :( I am the worst laptop mommy. Not even when I spent a while clipping all the Chuck Finley bits of Burn Notice that I had the patience to go through. FYI INTERNET I AM STILL COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH THE... MAN? CONCEPT? Write a fic called "Five Things Chuck Finley Didn't Do (And One He Did)" Y/Y?

I keep thinking that I want to apply to Google's Summer of Code thing, except I am stopped every time I start poking at an application by "Well they're not going to pick you anyway, so why bother?" Why am I so crazy? So, you know, looks like I'm not going to be bothering.

Today I am going to actually get up and find the CDs I want to listen to instead of desperately trying to find torrents because I'm too lazy to dig out my external drive. SPEAKING OF MUSIC does anyone have Russell Gunn's "The Concept"? I have to write a paper on it and while, theoretically, we will be able to get enough out of the professor playing it in class, I would feel better if I had a copy I could poke at at home where I can actually concentrate on what's going on in it, and my prof just gave me a "..." look when I asked if I could get a copy of the song. DUDE, RIPPING AN MP3 AND EMAILING IT IS NOT DIFFICULT. IF I HAD A LAPTOP WITH A WORKING CD DRIVE I WOULD EVEN DO IT IN CLASS.

Okay, back to read more Dresden Files. And thinking about Lost. Oh self. :(

Good Morning, Internet!

I had many strange and marvelous things to tell you, internet, but I have forgotten them by now. Alas.

I did learn some great things today, though! Observe: -The dog comes when I call. Or at least, he did when he got loose this morning.
-I only need to be putting in half the effort I do on my english papers to get As
-Pecorino romano: not the best addition to stuffed shells

[ profile] apocabigbang has inspired me to pull out an apocalypse fic I've been poking at for, well. A while. Unfortunately, I realized that it's going to require me to rewatch all the episodes of Burn Notice where Chuck Finley is mentioned and take a lot of notes. I've already eliminated most of season one and 3/4 of the first four episodes of season 2 because I found transcripts for them. But, hey, that means I only have to watch around 32 episodes instead of 44. SHUSH IT IS TOTALLY A VICTORY.

I could just download subs and ctrl+f for Finley, but that's more a pain int he ass than spending nearly a day and a half straight watching episodes.

But, let me tell you internet, I am kind of pissed that there's not site that lists information like that. After I go through, I'm going to make one. And then I'm not going to post it anywhere, because it will make me feel good to be all "IT'S MINE! AAAAAAAAAAAAAALL MINE!! I HAD TO DO THE WORK TO FIND THESE EPISODES, THEREFORE YOU DO TOO!"

(I like how I refuse to do research for fic ~on principle~, unless that research is rewatching the show. Nice, self. Nice.)

IN OTHER NEWS, IT IS ALMOST (it is already? ihni when it comes on) RICHARD O'CLOCK!! Too bad I will be watching tomorrow instead of tonight. :( I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT, THOUGH. THIS SHIT IS GONNA BE EPIC.

MICHAEL: One evening, a patient was brought into my clinic in the middle of the night. He was tortured so badly I couldn’t believe he was still breathing. A man was with him. It was the man on your radio. I’ll never forget the voice. He put a gun to my head and explained to me that my patient had robbed him and that he wanted me to save him so the pain would last longer. I did what I could. He said to come here for my money — my blood money. There’s a place between life and death. Amazing how long a man can linger there.
PRESCOTT: That’s enough, all right? Okay. Bring everything upstairs. We’re getting out of here. Tony? Tony, can you hear me?
THUG: What the hell is going on?
MICHAEL: I know this guy. He’ll have people outside the bank, in your truck, and on your boat. You have no idea who you’re dealing with.
