It's okay, Mum. I DIDN'T WANT A BIRTHDAY PRESENT ANYWAY.

I understand I got my "bad at picking out presents" gene from you.

And I also understand that there is absolutely nothing I need cuz I live in opulent splendour.

But, hey, that doesn't mean I don't do my damndest to get something for my friends for their birthdays/Christmas.

And just cuz none of my friends need anything doesn't mean that I don't get them something.

And I DEFINITELY don't talk to them for 20 minutes listing all the reasons why they don't need anything and why I'm probably not going to get anything for them and why they're greedy little bitches.

So, thank you. Thank you very much. I rejoice to be your daughter.

Please excuse me while I go cry in the shower.
