The Completely Pointless Personality Quiz At least I'm something cool! I am absolutely brooding! Is it placid darkness or just a quiet calm style that sets you apart? Virtues: Appreciation for deep thought is important, and no, I don't mean "Deep Thoughts" by good ole Jack Handey, though that must be widely loved. Humor-- light and dark-- is a staple, and absolutely necessary is your art. Literature, music; it's all important to your self expression. Aspirations: There's a wide range of possibilities for any thoughtful person. Especially common would be artistry; writer, painter, composer; even the comedy field could use some help. My respect for a large number of people has taken a seriuos plummet over the past week or two. As Rachel pointed out, it's called LiveJournal for a reason. Which, I would think, means a person can post whatever the hell they want and not get bashed for it in the comments. Get bashed for it in other posts, yes. Or even by private email. But I was of the... opinion, I suppose you could say, that comments were for "Dude, I totally agree!" and "What the fuck are you talking about you moron?" conversations and thoughts. Not, "How dare you post that in your LJ!". The vast majority of people are in pissy moods. That much is obvious. I should think that people would thus be more respectful of this and allow it to run its course instead of suggesting that everyone put on a happy face and ignore the fact that everyone around them is pissing them off. And if you pick a fight with me, don't get pissed off when I refuse to drop it. You will not get the last word in. Likewise, if I pick a fight with you, I'm going to keep fighting until you stop reacting. You wonder why I'm so nonconfrontational? It's cuz when shit does go down I'm like a pitbull with the topic until you walk away. When you try to make yourself look oh-holier-than-thou, you just end up making people mad at you. Guess what. No one wants you to be the "bigger person" if you're going to rub it in their face. Cuz that doesn't make you any better than them. And don't dish it out if you can't take it. Ugh, okay, it's obvious that there were deliberate targets to each of those paragraphs. So, you know what? Since it's MY JOURNAL I'm going to spell it out, just so there's no confusion. If you don't like it, fuck you. You can stop reading my LJ cuz it's my right to talk shit about people in here if I so choose. You all have the option of not reading it. Everyone who can take what they dish out. Let's gather in a chatroom or something and just rip on each other for a solid hour or so. Get out all that frustration and rage and anger on people who are going to wake up tomorrow morning and not hate you cuz of it. Leave a comment with your name if you wanna try this.
