MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Okay, so beyond the fact that my sister had the audacity to wake me up at 10 frickin' 30 in the morning...

I love Christmas morning. Cuz of the presents, of course. ;-)

Kerry got me The Last 5 Years. Alicia got me wicked soft slippers and a wicked soft nightgown... thingie... Hahaha. I didn't open it all the way, but I know it's some sort of clothing item. :-P

So, I had less boxes than Kerry, as usual, since Kerry gets lots of inexpensive stuff and I get a few wicked expensive things. So I employed my usual tactic of opening things wicked slowly so that I still had stuff to open after she was all done.

My stocking contained lots of chocolate, some rock candy, a pin, and some cash.

So. I got...
A Farside Desk Calendar (<3). I love Farside. Absolutely love it; it's the most hilarious comic ever.
Scattegories. Much better than the dinky version I have on my keychain. Such an awesome game.
And best of all, an iPod (<3333333333333)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See, I was all concerned because they had basically told me I was getting an iPod. And then there wasn't an iPod sized box anywhere to be found this morning. So I got to my last box (opening super-slow) and it was a brown cardboard box. Which I opened, expecting something like new ski boots.

Instead there was a lot of packing peanuts (shaped like E's!) and... another wrapped box!! So I played with the packing peanuts for a while to infuriate Kerry, then deliciously slowly unwrapped the next box and it was an iPod!!!

So now I'm going to install the software. Cuz it's an iPod. And I love it. And I want songs on it.

On the other hand, I hate Christmas cuz there's no one online to talk to. :-(

In other news, I thought The Last 5 Years was sad. It's even sadder now. But I love it. LOVE it!! And I can't decide if having a CD means I should delete my illegal copies off my computer so I have more space for music or what...

ETA: Oh, and we got a new TV. Thank the GODS. Now when I have people over we can watch movies somewhere that's not on my computer. Phew!
