Me: Yep.

What Really Happened:

So, I went in and had a nice little conversation with Traver this morning. I'm doing really well in Creative Writing and pretty good in C++. But I knew both ofthese things already.

We had a rational, civil, polite discussion about CalcIII. He explained that he knew lots of people were skipping classes and that it wasn't just me who was skipping and doing badly.

I explained how bloody boring the class was (I believe I used the world 'mind-numbingly'), which was why I was skipping.

He explained that when you're at a borderline grade, just being there would often make the teacher give you the higher grade.

I explained that I understood that.

We then proceeded to have a nice conversation about how there are classes like that everywhere, the only difference is that real college gives you a better change to avoid them.

Nice, polite - dare I say friendly? - conversation.

And so I have been inspired to do mad-good in all my classes. See how easy it is to manipulate me? Just show sympathy for my situation!

Of course, I'm sure this shall all be destroyed when Mum "discusses" with me this afternoon.

In conclusion, you still need to take that stick out of your ass Traver and use it to play pool or something. But you're okay, sometimes.

Oh, and did I mention that Misty Dodge asked me if I was skipping any other classes? Yeah. Like I would tell her if I was. Idiot.

In other news, slightly oddly amusing thing that happened in CS today. I was sitting in a seat, talking to Paul about skipping classes and Misty Dodge and such. All of a sudden, I hear:

"Hey! Girl whose name I don't know!"

So I sort of surreptitiously look around to see if there are any other girls in class yet. Nope. So I turn around and lookup at the kid who yelled it.

"That's an awesome book! ::thumbs up::"

Yes. Yes, Random Dude. American Gods is an awesome book. I'm glad you think so, too.

Oh, and I realized that when I say 'pouring' it sounds like 'porn'.

"It's pour'n' out."
"It's porn out?!"
"Pour. in'."
"Ohhhh. Yes. Yes it is."
