Knitting Woes

Well, I just frogged two hours worth of knitting because the first thing I did upon getting into work this morning was knit a row, drop a bunch of stitches, and fuck up when picking them back up. And instead of ripping back to where I'd fucked up, I just ripped the entire thing back. Because, as I had demonstrated moments ago, I am shit at picking up stitches like that.

It was for Sourwood Mountain and I was excited to finish knitting the first cuff before I left work today. LOOKS LIKE THAT'S NO LONGER GOING TO HAPPEN.

meanwhile the kitten has sunk his claws into the soft, soft flesh of my underfoot and has left many marks. YET STILL REMAINS PERFECT.

I spent my lunch hour (+15 minutes) reknitting back to where I was when I decided to frog the fucker. HMPH I COULD HAVE BEEN DONE BY NOW IF I HADN'T HAD TO FROG IT.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they like to play with feet. >:) A lot.
