So, now that I've heard from all the colleges I applied to...

I love Brown. :-) They rejected me, which means all of my second-thoughts about deciding to go to Northeastern have flown out the window! Well, I'm 4 for 5. Trinity, Wheaton, Northeastern, and WPI accepted me, Brown rejected me. Yay! Boston next year! *dances like a fucking mofo* I got my paper - the one I was freaking out over this weekend - back today. I may not win at life... but damn, I'm good. My 40-minute writing spree earned me an A- and 7 check marks and "good"s. THat's more than one per paragraph. Yay! Two of the themes I latched onto were also ones that I wasn't sure I could back up, or if they were even real themes. Apparently, they not only were, but they were good themes. One was the opposing views of nature (movie) vs. nurture (book) that were presented. The other was how, in the book, the monster is shown as an idealized human to contrast Frankenstein's realistic humanity, but this doesn't exist at all in the movie. Hee hee... it makes me happy to get papers back, regardless of how well I do on them.
