School Update

The only thing I like about Bordogna is that she gives take-home quizzes. If there's any hardcore memorizing to do, she's just like, "Oh, you don't have to actually remember any of that, I'll just put it on a takehome." Which basically means that no one ever has to study to pass. I got an A on my lit test. Yay! I was a wee bit worried about it because, for the first essay, I found quotes and stuff to support myself. But for the other two I alluded to stuff but didn't use any actual quotes. So there was a marked difference in quality and length. The teacher pretty much said, "Hey, really good first essay, but the other two are only so-so." Regardless of how unpleased I am with what I wrote, I'm obviously happy with my grade. ;-) I'm actually really enjoying my CS class this term, instead of being "Know it, know it, don't care, know it, no one cares, etc etc etc" every time the teacher talks. I think it helps that there's no MassAcademy kids in it (no one I feel like I have to compete with), even though it meant that for the first half of the term I had no one to do groupwork with. Cuz Nire? Make new friends? PISH POSH!! And there shall be an even longer update in a wee bit about sludge and my SISP.
