Why did you start watching the show?	I'd been reading Cleolinda's recaps since the beginning. Then Jose needed someone to discuss the show with, so I started watching for him.
What made you decide to keep watching the show?	It was interesting and mind-engaging. Most shows, I can take or leave (including Alias now, which used to be like Lost for me), but Lost keeps me drooling for more.
Who is your favorite character and why?	Locke. He is the MAN. With his knives and his hunting and his all around coolness, I love him.
Who is your least favorite character and why?	I'm torn between Jack and Shannon. Jack is just so emo and his hero-complex is tiring. But Shannon reminds me of all the girls I've hated all through highschool.
What is your favorite pairing and why?	Charlie/Claire. They're just so adorable!
What is your least favorite pairing and, yes, why?	Jack/Kate. I don't particularly like Kate, either. Together, they feed into each other's wangst.
What has been your favorite episode thusfar?	The first one with Charlie. He is utterly adorable!
Your least favorite?	The one dealing with Shannon & Boone, where we learn that it wasn't REALLY incest.
Which character/pairing do you think should be focused on or developed more?	Hurley needs more developing. At this point, he's mostly the "funny man". But there's so much that could be done with him and the mental institution.
What is your favorite crazy island mystery?	Mechasaur! What's the mechasaur?!
Who do you think has the most interesting backstory?	Sawyer. It keeps getting more and more fucked up. It's kind of interesting that the person with the most reason to be all wangsty isn't.
Whose backstory is the least interesting?	Mercutio's. The kid may be the Island Wonder, but he's just boring.
Which plot twist completely blindsided you?	I think that the 'Dear Sawyer' letter actually being written by Sawyer was fairly shocking.
Which plot twist could you totally see coming?	The whole fake-incest thing. I mean, I even have comments in Cleolinda's LJ that prove I called the whole "They totally did it and they're probably step-siblings, to boot."
Who did you think was going to die before it became obvious?	Charlie because I love him so much. My favorite characters tend to die. ;-)
Who do you prefer - Jack or Sawyer?	Sawyer! Like I said, Captain Hero Jack is far too emo in an annoying way.
Sayid/Nadia or Sayid/Shannon?	Sayid/Nadia, just because I don't like Shannon
Did you once think Sayid or Charlie had a chance with Kate?	Fuck no. It's clearly been Kate/Jack and/or Kate/Sawyer since the beginning.
Do you think Locke is good, evil, or something else?	I think he's kind of neutral. He thinks he's doing good, but he's incredibly loyal to The Island because it unparalyzed him. So that could be twisted to do good-for-the-Island, but bad-for-the-survivors.
Which characters, if any, did you like at first and now dislike?	Sun & Jin. They started out fairly interesting and now are boring.
Which characters (again if any) did you at first and now don't mind?	Sayid kinda rubbed me the wrong way for the first episode or two. But now... <3!
What character cannot you off no matter how much of an ass they are in any particular episode?	Charlie and Locke. They've both done some pretty Jackholeish things, but I loved them throughout.
Are you disappointed about David Fury having left the show?	Hmmm, depends on when he left. I mean, if it was around when the episodes started getting less-intersting for me, then fuck yes I'm pissed. But if that's unrelated, I guess I'll have to see how it affects the show.
Is there anything that would make you STOP watching?	If they did something like they've done with Alias, I might. I mean, they changed the entire direction of Alias; I don't like it as much now. If they did that to Lost...
What action do you think would be a dire mistake for the writers to make?	If they showed us what the mechasaur is. As much as I want to know, there's no way they can do that justice without it being near the end of the show.
Do you think they have everything perfectly worked out, or are they winging it?	They're winging it just like Chris Carter winged the X-Files. Hell, I bet they even hang out online to see what "clues" we're picking up on that they didn't realize were there, and then working them into the show.
Do you think LOST deserves an obligatory fluff-episode, or is it above all that?	Fuck no. In a show like Lost, I don't think a fluff episode would work AND it would probably be boring.
Are you quite happy to see the music montages die with Hurley's batteries?	Not really. I mean, I didn't have feelings for them either way. They were okay and most of them sounded fairly pretty, so I didn't mind them. But I don't mind them being gone, either.
And finally, where the hell are they?!	Canada! :-P I kind of think they're dead and that this is heaven or hell or purgatory or something. But, yeah, maybe not. Maybe they really are on an island in the middle of the Pacific, maybe they're in an alternate universe, maybe they're all dreaming. shrug
