Naw, it was earlier in the summer. Boringest. Shit. Ever. There's a "Welcome Week" type deal starting the 3rd and then classes start the 7th.

Okay, that makes a ton more sense. At Brown, we had our first-year orientation during the week before classes started (and a super-special minority orientation the weekend before that -- there's always a dramafest associated with this). Their classes would normally start up on the day after Labor Day.
