So, the Northeastern meal plan. Ten meals a week, 8 guest passes, and $190 dining dollars for $1975. Let's do some pretty math, ey?  $1975 - $190  $1785 So that's 1785 spread over 15 weeks, 10 meals per week.   15w x 10m/w  150 meals +  8gp  158 meals $1785  = $11.30 per meal   158m Come again? I'm paying eleven bucks for a slice of pizza, some fries, and a glass of rootbeer? Do you know how much a small pepperoni pizza and a 2-litre of rootbeer is? Okay, I don't, but I do know that it's enough under $12 that upgrading to a large pizza still won't make it enough for NightOwl to deliver. The 19 meal plan? Is still eight bucks a meal. Eight. Dollars. I could eat at Burger King every meal for less than that. Hell, I could eat at Applebees and still come out on top! What about feeding myself? I mean, there must be some benefit to the meal plans, beyond that I don't have to cook anything. So it's probably more expensive to shop at Wollaston's, right? Right?? Er, sorry. Eleven dollars? Gets me from Sunday to Wednesday morning. That's one two three and a third days for the cost of one meal. Uh... Good job at being a total and complete ripoff, Northeastern. I salute you. If I don't get into one of the kitchenfull dorms next year, I'll commute, thankyouverymuch. Or apartment it up. Sheesh. This is beyond ridiculous. You scored as Commander Samuel Vimes. that's why i didn't get a meal plan...i said hmmm eff that i can eat for way less. and i do. i wouldn't have used half the meals anyways.

it's required for freshmen living on campus. Like, you're automatically enrolled and you can change between the 10 15 and 19, but you can't go lower or get rid of it. =((((((((

I'm pretty sure my mealplan is also a rip-off. They not only charge a lot more than their crappy food is worth, but they also make money off giving you a set number (for me, 10) of meals a week, which they know you have paid for, but will not use up. Greedy bastards.

Hahahaha come to BC. Northeastern will feel like Africa when you go back (cuz everything will look so cheap, not cuz ...whatever). Imagine a normal price for something. Now imagine that multiplied by three. That's what everything costs here. And it's not even good. Arrrrrgh on BC.

My meal plan works out to six something a meal, I think. I'm not paying for it, though, so I really couldn't care less. & most of the food doesn't suck.
