We have a mouse. And by that, I mean we have seen a mouse scampering about twice. And everyone-but-me has tried fervently to catch it each time, probably scaring the thing into hiding for a good long time. I'm going to employ my mad mouse catching skillz and wait patiently for it to take the peanut butter cracker bait. Then bucket it up and, well, do what you do with mice. But if that doesn't work and I see it again, mousetrap ahoy! I wonder how long we could keep it for a pet...

Mice also have a very sweet tooth, so if you can spare some chocolate you could try that, too. The mice where I used to live loved white chocolate in particular.
