It looks so long and warm!

Someone needs to make me a Tom Baker scarf. The original one, before the started cutting stuff out of it and blowing holes in it and such. The one that was somewhere around thirteen feet long.

That's all I want from life.

Look! A pattern!

SOMEONE? Did you have a particular person in mind? My aunt made a scarf like that for my brother many many years ago....probably when he was about the age you are now, matter of fact. Huh.

Hahaha. I actually have to change that now; I found a knitting store near me, so I'm gonna go tomorrow and get the FRILLION DOLLARS WORTH of yarn and needles and eveything else I just happen to see and want, and make it for myself.

And it will be glorious.

Ooh! You make me want to make one for myself! I have a scarf that I bought a few years ago that I call my "doctor who scarf" but it's not the same thing, really. For a start, the colours are nothing like the real thing.

*nod* I'm wandering down to the knitting store tomorrow to get the stuff. I think it's going to turn out to be aound 40USD for the yarn. =\

$40 for a fuckton of natural fiber yarn is like, not at all expensive.

Oh, I know. *has been price comparing all yesterday*. It's just when I realize that's more than I spend on three weeks worth of groceries that I realize I'm crazy.

But it is a metric fuckton of yarn. And I'm bringing mules along to carry it back to the dorm with me. Because I use my friends like an old tissue ;-)
