ComicTime!

Steve and I just had a conversation about comic books lasting from nearly the beginning of Spiderman to the portion just after the Green Goblin attacks and the floats almost kill the little kid and Spiderman has to save Mary Jane for the first time. I forgot how wonderful it is to talk comics with another person who knows what I'm talking about. It, of course, included a conversation about why we all despise Superman, and why we love Batman. Have I mentioned how much I've missed doing this? Tomorrow, we (and by we, I think I might actually just mean me, or me and Jess) are heading to Comicopia, for real this time. We also discussed Steve's friend Johnny, who is, apparently, the coolest person on earth. If ever I have the chance to meet him, I'm going to end up gibbering like a fangirl. Because, really. He is the ultimate authority on everything, and sounds obscenely awesome, and dear gods I wish I knew this man.

My guilty pleasure is still Stormwatch/The Authority. Maybe I just like extreme assbeating. Or maybe that's Milk And Cheese.
