House Changes, Number Riddle.
Wow. I've spent the past two days watching a marathon of House, M.D., season 2. Now I'm going back in time and watching season 1. Dear gods it's so different! In season one (at least, the first episode ['cause that's the one I'm on]), all of the colors are incredibly muted. Well, no, not all of them. Occaisonally there will be a flash! of color! Bright, vibrant, brilliant color! The clothing is all dull, almost grey-scale, and the faces are incredibly clear and colorful for shining moments in time. And the fuzzy! Oh the fuzzy! Everyone and everything seems to have a slight glow about them, an angelic sheen of purity. It's ridiculous and awesome at the same time. The lighting, the fuzz, and the dull-yet-bright colors make everone look as though they have silky, smooth, shiny skin. Everyone's so serious, too. Well, no, I take that back, House isn't. House is angry and bitter and House. Toned down from the further seasons, but still quite House-y. The ducklings, however, are adorably focused on their work and not willing to put up with House's shenanigans. Of course, they don't have much choice... Some shorter differences: The, er, "banter" between House and Wilson is toned down. The opening sequence isn't as "cool". The music during the show is ridiculously dramatic. And, well, the show itself is more dramatic than it is now. The ventures-into-the-body are more frequent, less put-together, and more drawn-out. In other news, I've finally finished that Sudoku puzzle that I've had to redo thrice because I kept getting stuck. ETA: Forgot how sodding annoying Wilson constantly "explaining" House to "the ducklings" is. Show, don't tell guys. Sheesh. |

Opening sequence not as cool as before? Noooo! No more shots of breathtaking scenery? How does it go now?
