Yes, I think about water a lot.
Today, I designed the perfect bathtub/shower. Picture your bathroom. Now picture it completely empty. No sink, no mirror, no shower or tub, no cabinets, nothing. You know the little raised bit on the floor right under the door? Picture that about two feet high; tall enough to hold in enough water to take a bath in, low enough to step over. The floor and up the walls for a few feet are the ceramic* of a tub. The rests of the walls are tile. The floor slopes gently into one corner, where there's a slightly larger than normal drain. The entire ceiling is a giant, flat showerhead. It's controlled by a panel near the door, much like a jacuzzi has as panel on it's edge. The ceiling is actually split into a bunch of panels, each of which can be turned on or off separately. The panel also controls the water pressure and heat of each panel. One wall would have a detachable showerhead for those hard-to-reach places, of course. If I couldn't wash the soap off of my foot before putting it back on the ceramic, I'm fair certain I would've cracked my head open in the shower by now. It'd be fucking amazing, like taking a shower in the rain. If I am ever rich, I'm going to have a crew install such a wonderful room in my home. It'll cost a fortune in water bills, but it will be fucking amazing. *sigh* *Don't care if it's not ceramic. I just like the way the word sounds. |
