I've spent two days trying to make a post-Hogwarts, pre-Voldemort's-first-demise summer holiday fic work, because I am a persistent bugger. I think I have to admit now that it's not going to and scrap the whole idea.

Sometimes, just because the first sentence is clear in your mind, doesn't mean the idea's going to work. Bah.

Today I sold my PS1 and one of my copies of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories on eBay. I hope the people pay me soon so that I can ship everything out before I go on holiday.

Back to Doctor Who.

my theory is that RAB was regalus black, sirius' brother...RAB used "dark lord," meaning he knew him or was a death eater, has 2/3 initials, and was then ordered killed by v. problem is, we know he's definitely dead, otherwise kreacher wouldn't listen to harry...

Oh yeah, definitely Regulus. Theory of character conservation, or something like that. It has to be someone who's already appeared in the books, and Regulus is the only person whose initials fit.

Trust me. It made what I wrote on the first look like friggin' Shakespeare or [insert favoured highly-skilled writer here].

Alas. I have an idea for what I shall do instead. Involving Remus and a certain veil we know and hate.
