Why so sad, panda bear?

Everyone needs to read this post about LJ Etiquitte and all that jazz. Please please please take these to heart and don't be an ass. I think it sums up pretty much everything I've ever cursed people out for cringed over.

I'm working on creating a beautiful page in CSS. Before it goes public, I'll need people to test it. So if anyone who uses either A) old versions of a browser, or B) something that isn't IE or Firefox, could comment on this post with your browser name & version, I'd greatly appreciate that.

I can test Opera for you. I'm not sure what version it is ('cause I'm at work) but I'll let you know when I get home.

Thank you so much! I'll post a link to this comment when I get it functional in my browsers.

I can test Lynx for you, though I imagine your beautiful page wouldn't be so beautiful in a text-based browser!

That... no. Nooooooo. That is not a browser. That is for if you are too lame to have an actual, useful operating system.

I'm sure Unix/Linux users everywhere, like [livejournal.com profile] pezzonovante, would disagree!

[livejournal.com profile] pezzonovante has Mozilla on his laptop. OH SNAP.

okay, so introduce yourself!

Make your Introductions. When entering into the Journal of someone previously Unknown to you, it is courtesy at least to offer a "good day, sir" and perhaps to explain your business there as well. For myself I am not so bothered about such things, but some are, and in general it is better to err on the side of caution where matters of Live Journal are concerned.

I see you have friended me. I am just curious how, why etc. Do I know you from somewhere else and have an incredibly bad memory?

*fistshake of woe* I could've swarn I commented on your LJ to introduce myself, but clearly I'm turning my "Things to Do" list into my "Fake Memories That I Think Are Real" list again.

I stumbled across your LJ looking for people interested in knitting and spinning (I do the former and am interested in learning the latter), and friended you 'cause you seemed interesting and not overly "artsy-fartsy".

I'm a lurker, for the most part, and don't make a fuss about people friending me back/not friending me back/friending on Saturdays and unfriending on Wednesdays/whathaveyou.
