Star Wars. On a banjo. Oh yes.


So, how many of you played Liar's Dice when you were wee? Or now. Yanno, same difference and all.

Well, that was more raised hands than I thought. How many of you cringed with me during the Will/Davy/Bill game? Yeahhhhhh that's right.

Let me just say: no. No no no. Bad writers. For shame! I'm sure you could've set up the ensuing action in a way that didn't involve fucking the game to hell. And not in such obvious ways. For shame!

That was, really, the only part of the movie that I had issues with; as people who saw it with me (hi [livejournal.com profile] iheartmunkies and [livejournal.com profile] pezzonovante!) can attest, I spent the scene making "OH WHY GODS WHY" motions at the screen. Both times. Because I am a dork like that.

*spit* Really, A+ job on basic historic accuracy, B- job on carrying it out sufficiently.
