Halloween Party

Oh my, I completely forgot to post this, internets! This is from all the way back in October. I had a wee Halloween party, and this is the setup. It was so yummy!



Brown food coloring is deceptively difficult to make. These were fun and easy to frost.


But not as easy as pumpkins!


Black is indubitably the hardest to make. Fuck, I couldn't even make it; I had to settle for a sketchy gray.


Then I had a psychotic break, brought on by a Lucky Charms flashback, and made some blue moons.


What does a first pie look like? Why, this! The crust was surprisingly awesome, but the pie was too juicy. But good crust!


Mmm the candy table! Candy apples, cauldron of candy and glow sticks, leftover hardened candy-apple-candy-stuff!


And, of course, the sherbert punch, cheese and crackers, Halloween plates, and chips 'n' dip. Look, goblets!

I've been looking for brown and black since then (so, at least a month), and I have yet to find any anywhere. It makes me a v. v. sad panda.
