omfg LJ I am so fucking mad you would not believe it. Or maybe you would. Because I only post here when I'm mad.

I AM MAD

Last Marchish, I went to talk to Rasalala about getting transfer credits from WPI. Or at least being passed out of the courses that I took so that I didn't have to retake any more fucking classes. We agreed upon a set of equivalencies and he sent them to admissions to be counted.

Yesterday, I did a degree audit to see what I had left to take and if I had enough credits to take Middler writing. I noticed that 5 of the courses hadn't gone through. They were still listed as "pending approval" or something like that.

No biggie. I emailed Rasala to make sure that I didn't need to worry about it. I then emailed, by his request, what courses were listed as pending and what we decided the equivalencies were.

So, this morning I come in to an email from him. Apparently, he's decided that the Systems Programming Concepts course I took at WPI isn't, in fact, the same as the Object-Oriented Design course offered here. It's more similar to Systems and Networks.

Which is utter and complete bullshit.

I took Systems and Networks last semester, and it was nothing like SPC. Fuck, Rasala even had me have the person who teaches the OOD class here send him an email saying "Yes, the SPC class at WPI is, indeed, equivalent to the OOD class here." Which I told him in the email I sent back.

Jesus. We did all this last March/April. I can't believe I'm having to go through the entire process again, and having a new fight on my hands. I am not retaking another class that I already took at WPI. I retook Fundies 1 and 2 because Northeastern was being a bitch about transfer credits, then I got Rasala to deal with it for me. At which point I thought that this was all over.

But apparently not. I can't wait to see what he says in his next email. I hope to the gods that he still has the email from Hafner so that he'll just contact Admissions and put it through, instead of me having to do something like finding all of my sodding books and showing him that, yes, they were in fact the same goddamned class because they use basically the same goddamned book.
