First off, Michael Malloy is fascinating. I have no clue how you could possibly go through all of that and survive, but I really wish that his body had been preserved so that they could disect him and figure out what made him tick.

Maybe he was a super hero! He could've been like Bruce Willis, except his weakness was gas in his stomach.

And then here's a sendspace upload of the 1812 Overture. I don't know who's playing it, BUT! What makes it different from most recorded versions I've heard is that they're using canons (or some sort of gunpowder-feuled weaponry) instead of mimicking the sound with a timpani. HOW EXCELLENT IS THAT?

Lastly, I'm on a steampunk kick again. So if anyone could direct me to some awesome-but-little-known steampunk, I would hugely appreciate it. I've already seen most of the mainstream stuff, which is incredibly annoying when asking for recs. Maybe this will produce stuff I havn't yet seen or read!

Also, if you're into steampunk, may I recommend The Encyclopedia of Fantastic Victoriana as somewhere to do research for writing steampunk? Or, really, anything Victorian. It is utterly fascinating, and I love it to pieces.

Really lastly, my new ambition in live is to make this keyboard. I think it is the coolest thing ever, and I have an old keyboard I can fuck around with. I just need to figure out how much it will cost beforehand.

Wow...how didn't he die?
And as for steam punk, it's not quite steam punk, but have you read girl genious?
