Fascinating Video: 6 Second Drum Break: The Amen Break

 
I bought my ticket home, leaving next Sunday. :( BOO.

Anyway, you all must watch this video on youtube (also behind the cut). It's 18 minutes long, and the video itself is almost as fascinating as the subject, in a purely indiefilm way.

Also, his voice sounds incredibly familiar. I think it sounds slightly like that mechanical voice in that Radiohead song. HOLD ON FINDING MY CD TO FIND OUT WHICH SONG I'M THINKING OF. "Filter Happy". That one.

The Amen break was the first thing that my drum teacher (years ago, not the current one) taught me how to play.
