Little Things Make My Day

Yesterday, when I was leaving class, it was pouring outside. And not that nice summer downpour where you go outside and run around or take a walk and rejoice in being soaked to the skin. This was the fall rain where it's cold and the wind is blowing and you need to rake leaves but can't for days because everything is soaked.

So, I'm walking along, singing songs from cadhla's latest album to distract myself from the fact that I have no umbrella and I'm freezing and soaked to the skin and slipping inside my sandals and pants are sopping wet up to the knees.

As I'm cutting through a back alley between a dorm and the CS building, I realize there's a guy walking beside me. When I speed up, he speeds up. When I slow down, he slows down. He's obviously a student, and I'm 90% sure that he was in the class I just left.

But still.

So I'm still singing because, if singing can distract me from the rain, it can clearly also distract me from knowing that I'm about to be murdered in broad, um, in dank rainclouds by another CS major.

Suddenly, he turns to me and goes "You know, you have a really nice voice. :)"

So I said thank you, smiled at him, and then RAN THE FUCK AWAY. Because if anything creeps me out more than people following me, it's people complimenting me. (But it still made my day. Hee!)

hahaha, the first time I saw >:) I thought it was supposed to be an alien. A happy, non-evil alien! But now the meme has conditioned me into seeing it for what it really is. MEME IS GOOD AT THAT.

Although, I do think >) should be Sylar's real emoticon. lol eyebrows so thick and devious they make up half of his face. :D

Maybe there could be a plot where he shaves off his eyebrows so he can be DISGUISED and he goes and seduces Mohinder without eyebrows and Mohinder doesn't suspect a thing because he's loldorably dense Sylar looks SO PROFOUNDLY DIFFERENT of course, and he pries valuable information and hot sex out of Mohinder for the next few weeks, until his eyebrows start to grow back and dun dun dun MOHINDER REALIZES. AND GETS ANGRY AND CHAINS HIM TO A CHAIR.

There is a reason I don't write fic. But lol Sylar's eyebrows, is what I'm trying to say here!

AND I HAVE NOT, I CAN'T WATCH MUCH ATM, BECAUSE I KEEP FORGETTING TO BRING MY HEADPHONES WITH ME WHEN I GO ON THE COMPUTER. BUT! I REALLY WANT TO. BECAUSE OT4 IS, WELL, SUCH AN OT4. ♥
