I literally just figured out that the hubbub that everyone's talking about with car flipping and shit was not because the Sox won some random game, but because they won the World Series.

Don't feel bad. The last time I was in Boston during playoffs someone didn't know, and once I explained that they were facing elimination by the Yankees in the ALCS, she still didn't get what was going on.

My roommate is like obsessed (she's a Mets fan who haaaaaaates the Red Sox and the Yankees and how everybody acts like baseball only consists of those two teams) and everything. She talks about them all the time. I knew every detail of every playoff game with the Indians, because of her.

Possibly! All I know is, the second I stopped being overinvested in the Red Sox (THEY SOLD NOMAR! WE'RE NOTHING WITHOUT NOMAR!), we won the World Series. The less I care, the better we do! I'm like the opposite of a good luck charm and you can be one too!
