Well! It took 12 hours of work, but the furnace has been replaced and changed to gas. We now have heat in this apartment that does not blow soot everywhere, which is a welcome change.

Of course, now we don't have hot water.

I'm making sure nothing's been fucked up with my account, what with adding gas heat delivery on top of the gas hot water, and then call the landlord. And be very fucking pissy because I fucking hate this apartment and all these stupid problems.

2007 sucked rabid donkey balls, and it looks like 2008 isn't going to be much better. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: comment with something that will cheer me up immensely.
