The Incredible True (Mis)Adventures of Erin, part 2

Okay, but really, the visit was tons of fun.

I got there and was like "Hi I want to die let me sleep." and went to bed. After, of course, flailing at [livejournal.com profile] soleta for a couple minutes about SGA and Parrish and zombies.

The next morning, we went to the Paper Moon.

That's my shitty cameraphone picture of the outside. See all that bright color in the background? That's the Paper Moon. And the inside was even cooler. It was covered with toys and action figures and army men and holy crap it was awesome. Also delicious.

So that was breakfast. Next time I go down, we're going there for dinner.

But that's not all! The farmers' market was open! So we went to bustle about that. I bought this unbelievably ginger drink mix for ginger tea. It seriously was the best-tasting ginger drink I've ever had.

And then there was some delicious cream cheese from the milk man. I had it on a bagel on my drive home and it was unfuckingbelievable. The milk man also sells goat milk, unlike here in Massachusetts, but the goats weren't milking yet. :(

And then! There were all these epic carrots. I mean, these fuckers were longer and thicker around than a vibrator. And then we found one that looked like a cock and balls. It's currently sitting on my counter slathered in strawberry juice.

There was a strawberry incident in the car. :(

Speaking of strawberries, I got two zucchinis, a pint of strawberries, and a tangerine for $4.25. BEAT THAT AT YOUR LOCAL GROCERY STORE. You can't.

And then there was bread, but whatever, no one cares about bread, can we talk about how fucking delicious the strawberries were instead?

Because they were.

AND THEN! THEN THEY TOOK ME TO WEGMAN'S. WHICH WAS SO COOL. AND BIG. AND I HAD SUPER YOGURT. AND THERE WERE ROOTBEER JELLYBEANS. AND BASICALLY IT'S THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD AND WE HAVE TO MAKE THEM BRING THEM TO BOSTON.

And then we watched Doctor Who and Torchwood and I drew lots (I DREW A FLEA THAT MADE SOMEONE ON THE INTERNET THROW UP IT WAS SO AWESOME!!) and at rootbeer jellybeans and went to sleep and got up and watched more Torchwood and went home.

Now I have to take lots of pictures of my carrot. And wash off all the fruit that was in that bag. And make zucchini bread.

:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd

>:( Their website is awesome and you know it!!

Dude, there has to be some around you! You live in England; the entire island is just a whole bunch of rolling grassy hills with a few houses dotted here and there.

Well yes, but being English I don't like to travel more than a half hour away from my house because that would be too much like a journey.

Seriously, it would take me like 2 hours to get to the countryside! there would have to be trains and stuff. No-one wants that.

That's so strange! In two hours, I'm halfway across the state and have moved out of the countryside and into the wilderness.
