In Which Our Hero Is Thwarted By Supply Vs. Demand
The only non-skeevy comic book shop near me (that I know of. I'm sure there are more that I don't know of because, for me, a comic book store is like a boyfriend: you don't see other stores until you're sure things are over with your current one, and Comicopia's been my store for years and years and years) is out of both issues of Locke & Key.
And, to add insult to injury, they're out of the particular back issues of various X-men lines I need. I'm not talking about year-old issues that haven't been in stock for months, no. I'm talking about oops-sorry-I-just-sold-the-last-one-five-minutes-ago issues from last month.
I hate today.

Clearly the fates are telling me torrenting is AWESOME and I should just keep doing that.

(Honestly, though, I'm angry at it in that way you get angry with really good things that have endings you REALLY DON'T LIKE BECAUSE THEY'RE DUMB AND LAME AND ASJFKLA)
I'm trying to get caught up with Ultimate X-men again. And I have House of M waiting for me, and Marvel Zombies has been sitting on my desktop for a year and a half because it can't possibly be as awesome as I imagine it. And I'm sort-of following Civil War, but not religiously 'cause I can't make up my mind about it.
But the ones that I'm actively reading right-this-second are Fables and Dorothy. Which are both INSANELY good. Like, asjdflk;jas;dljfka;lsjdf;lasjdf good.
And if you like rolicking vampire stories, check out 30 Days of Night and its sequel. The art in 30DoN is kind of hard to get past at first, but it's cleaned up enough to be enjoyable in Dark Days (or whatever the sequel run is called). They're short but fun.
