I came thisclose to calling in sick to work today and going fishing instead. Only remembering that I ened to call in sick Monday the 28th made me stop and go to work even though I woke up really late and would get to work really late.

Also, I have a headache.

After work, I could be packing up a dinner and taking the dog and going fishing, but no. No no no. Instead I have a doctor appointment that I can't cancel. >:( This sucks.

Randomly I totally love that you like, fish as a hobby. I've loved doing it the few times I've gone but you never really meet anybody into it who isn't an old dude with bumper stickers that say I FISH THEREFOR I LIE.

100% TRUFAX, whenever I go to the real popular fishing spot in Cowtown, it's like old dude old dude old dude oldude with grandkids old dude ME. And they all stare at me like I don't belong and offer to bait my hook for me.

OF COURSE, I'M RELATED TO HALF OF THEM BY WAY OF SMALL TOWN INCEST BABIES, SO.

I love it 'cause it's real quiet. Like, you bring your dog and your gear and your lunch and your book and just lounge on the rocks for a couple hours. And if you're real cool, you try to catch the trout. But if you're me you just like catchin' sunfish and throwin' 'em back.

Next year, I'm thinking of buying a kayak so I can go lounge in the middle of the lake. :D
