:( Not me. I've been good today. Guess what I did! I called and scheduled a placement test thingy for my college thing! And I didn't vomit in terror! :(((
I have old comics. X-Men, Sandman, JLA, stuff like that. Plus The Authority, because I like seeing tremendous epic beatdowns. Plus random other stuff. I need to collect more Planetary. Ooh, and Rising Stars. And stuff.
Don't be grouchy. There are still good non-stupid people around. Stay good, Nire! Don't plot mankind's death!
EDIT: Also, the trailer for the "Watchmen" movie doesn't entirely suck, which means the movie might almost be good-ish. Maybe.
The first time I saw the Watchmen trailer I was fairly impressed. The second time I was still impressed. The millionth time, I'm starting to find things wrong. Like, where is Ozymandias' BRIGHT CLOTHING? HOW CAN HE BE ALL THAT IS GOOD AND RIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL AND THE NEW KING IF HE IS WEARING DULL VILLAIN-LOOKING CLOTHES??? LOL EPICLY MISSING THE POINT OF OZYMANDIAS, MOVIE. >:(
JLA isn't always great, except for the few years when Grant Morrison was writing. Then it was fun. I wish Warren Ellis would take his experience from The Authority and slam it into the JLA head-first, because it would be awesome.
Ozzie's stupid purple skirt always bothered me. Not sure the movie suit is better, but it's not stupid purple.
On the other hand, the Clockwork Sand Palace rising out of Mars looked FUCKING BADASS.
And, barring all that, Batman:TDK was still awesome.
Superman, if written well, can still be a good thing. And he serves one very critical purpose: sure, he's all powerful and stuff, and he's a goody-two-shoes, but because of that he screws up a lot, and as a result, he makes Batman EVEN MORE AWESOME THAN HE ALREADY IS because Batman gets to say "Hi, look at me, I have no superpowers and yet I'm still MORE AWESOME THAN YOU, Mr. Krypton Alien Super Guy. So Nyah."
Ok, I agree. LOLOLOL PURPLY SKIRT is so trufax. Plus, he did genetically engineer his own pet kitty. AND THEN NUKED IT. While still wearing purple!skirt.
Dr. M. should be glowy. I think all the effects involving him look excellent. As does the Owlship.
Um... I have old pulpy scifi magazines from the 1930s... and the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and V for Vendetta... and a very old X-men comic and a very old Excaliber comic. Do I get to live?

Dude, his stupid purple skirt was hilarious! He was all "RAWR I AM AN EGYPTIAN PHARAOH!" and everyone was all "lololol purply skirt!"
I like that they made Dr. Manhattan sorta glowy. THAT IS A GOOD CHANGE.
