Basically, SGA fandom spoiled me.
Every time I go on the internet and there's not more well-written Pepper/Tony fic waiting for me to read, I get really angry. And then I take it out on people who read Steve/Tony fic BECAUSE CLEARLY, CLEARLY THE REASON WHY STEVE/TONY FIC EXISTS IS BECAUSE FANDOM IS FULL OF MISOGYNISTS. NOT BECAUSE THE IRON MAN MOVIE IS ONLY A HANDFUL OF MONTHS OLD, WHEREAS COMICS FANDOM IS FOREVER OLD.
Then, when I get bored of being angry about that and want to read Steve/Tony fic, I get angry that there's not more of that. WTF IS WITH YOUR HOMOPHOBIA FANDOM. >:(

elspethdixon and seanchai aren't writing movieverse Pepper/Tony.
And then I get angry that the REST of the internet isn't writing movieverse Pepper/Tony and the cycle begins YET AGAIN.
Basically, what I'm saying, is that being a mcshep fan spoiled the shit out of me and I no longer know how to interact with normal fandoms. And that I'm perpetually angry with fandom these days. I'm going to go punch some babies now, in hopes that it makes me feel better.
In Robin updates, today we went up to the fells to do some hiking. (btw, I'm never moving out of Somerville, unless it's to move a town or two north. I forgot how much I loved being ten minutes away from the Middlesex fells.) The dog looooooooooves being outside. In fact, he loves being outside almost as much as he motherfucking hates bees. I'm pretty sure that, in addition to his ear, he got stung at least once in his mouth but I'm too lazy to check.
He's also a lot more receptive to approaching people when he's outdoors on a 12' leash. So I'm going to gather up a group of friends who can listen to direction and cart us all up to the fells to do socialization every couple days, in a couple of weeks.
Also, yesterday he ventured into the rest of the apartment on his own for the first time ever. Admittedly, it was only to dash over to the futon and jump up on it because I was sitting there waiting for the fridge guys, but still! PROGRESS. Once I've got him okay with moving about the apartment and okay with walking from my car and into the fells, I can start counter-conditioning him to walking with me in the city with cars, AND THEN PEOPLE!

I'm sorry about the lack of fic in your chosen fandom. That sucks. Also no warnings sucks too.
I sent off my second Ronon/Radek piece to beta (maybe, she's a McShep girl, and wasn't thrilled, but seemed like she'd do it), so maybe I'll post it at some point. Or maybe I'll dump it and start something else. Or finish this goddamn cap. :(

I'm actually going back through a zillions of people's (YES, "A ZILLIONS" IS INDEED CORRECT GRAMMAR, STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT) recs and reading and adding stuff, and I guess there was more than I thought, but there's not any of the stuff that I REALLY want which is hates-himself-Tony and lol-you're-such-a-dumbass-ilu-Pepper. So for a lot of people who're mostly into the comics, it's hard to think about it without that gut holycrapno feeling, I think.
