Who do you call when it's the police you need protecting from?

Seriously? Seriously??

In what democratic non-police-state world is this sort of shit okay?

"A copy of a warrant at one house said the police were authorized to look for a laundry list of items, including fire bombs, Molotov cocktails, brake fluid, photographs and maps of St. Paul, paint, computers and camera equipment, and documents and other communications."

So they're worried that protesters will fire-bomb the convention, or barring that, offer free lube jobs to motorists?

...OK yes, facitious. But I haven't read the Anarchist Cookbook since I was 12, so what the hell do people use break fluid for?

I'm sure it can be... I don't even know. Thrown at people? Lit on fire, maybe?

I hope someone goes after those who ordered the raids, but I'll doubt they'll be punished appropriately by the law.

Yeah. On the one hand, some of the protesters were douchebags. On the other hand, when I heard about that, I thought, "...before or after the protesting? I suspect before."
