TODAY WAS AMAZING YOU GUYS

AMAZING.

FIRST OF ALL OKAY. FIRST OF ALL. I took Robin out off-leash and just let him chill on the porch while I did stuff in the yard, right? Calling to him every so often in case he would maybe come off the porch and out front with me?

AND HE DID. HE WOULD COME VISIT ME FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THEN RUN BACK TO THE PORCH AND THEN COME VISIT ME AND THEN GO BACK TO THE PORCH. IT WAS AMAZING. AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING. He won't follow me further than the yard, and he won't willingly go out without me dragging him through the door, BUT STILL. AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING.

He also peed in the yard TWICE WHICH WAS ALSO AMAZING. MY DOG IS WONDERFUL AND BRILLIANT AND PERFECT.

And then, okay. Then. This lady turned the corner of the street, right? And she had a HUGE german-sheppard-type-but-not-a-german-sheppard dog. HUGE. LIKE, MARMADUKE SIZED. And so I was all "Go back to the door Robin!" because I didn't want him to freak the fuck out if it was an unfriendly dog.

And as I'm standing in the yard, the lady's all "Oh, he's friendly!" and I was all "Oh, no, my dog's terrified of people and this is the first time I've managed to get him out so I don't want him freakin' out :D" and she stopped to chat.

AND ROBIN CAME OUT. AND THE BIG DOG (seriously, twice the size of Robin) WAS ALL "HO SHIIIIIIIIT WANT TO PLAAAAAAAAAY" and Robin was all "D: UH YOU MAKE ME NERVOUS BUT UH I WILL UH LET YOU SNIFF ME :D?" And so they were all *sniff sniff* and I was all :O

So they were bein' all friendly and shit and the lady and I were chatting about pound dogs and socialization and the like and she squatted down to try to get Robin to come sniff her, and I was all "LOL NO" in my head, right?

AND YOU GUYS. YOU GUYYYYYYYYS. AFTER A COUPLE MINUTES OF HER SQUATTING DOWN WITH HER HAND OUT. ROBIN CAME OVER AND HE SNIFFED HER YOU GUYS HE SNIFFED HER HAND AND I SWEAR TO GOD HE WOULD'VE LET HER PET HIM IF HER DOG HADN'T BEEN ALL "WHAT WHAT WHY ARE YOU GIVING HIM ATTENTION AND NOT ME :(((((((" AND PUSHED BETWEEN THEM

I CAN NOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW AMAZING THIS IS OH MY GOD THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER YOU HAVE NO IDEA :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

So I'm going to start taking him to the nearest dog park and hanging out with him on a long leash. Which means I have to come up with the money to buy a training lead. :D:

BUT SERIOUSLY THIS WAS AMAZING OH MY GOD BEST DAY EVER I WISH I'D THOUGHT TO GET HER NAME OR SOMETHING. She was all "lol did you guys just move in?" and I was like "LOL NOOOOOO IT'S JUST THAT MY DOG IS TERRIFIED OF EVERYTHING FROM THE GROUND TO THE CARS TO THE PEOPLE TO THE AIR".

Amazing.
