LOL OLD LADY

I saved $11.04 with coupons today, you guys!! THAT'S MORE THAN TEN DOLLARS. I AM AMAZING.

It would have been more, but I didn't want to go over $50 because that's all the cash I had on me, and I also didn't want to actually add up the prices of everything in there, so I eyeballed it.

ELEVEN. DOLLARS.

I wish I could regularly find coupons for the stuff I buy. But it seems like it's always "50¢ off 12 boxes of Cheerios!" and other stuff that either we don't buy or would never be able to eat all of. I mean, I don't have a proper pantry and don't even have places to store everything as it is.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Cheerios!

This wasn't stuff I usually buy (lol Cliff bars, what? But they'll be good for lunch at school, I guess?), I just don't have any money now so have to take savings where they come.

I sat here for like five minutes trying to come up with a snotty, triumph-y reply to this, but it all boiled down to, "I am jealous of your superior coupon skills." Damn it! :(

I'm sorry you're not as cool as me. :(

Did you hear on NPR the crazy lady who buys like, cases of ketchup because it's on sale? I mean, it was kind of cool, but she was going to Walgreens one night and CVS the next, and I don't have that much time for shopping, my friend.
