Two Tasks Accomplished Today

So far I've made the shower better and built a spice rack. Check out my sexy spice rack:











I'm going to paint it a green that matches the yellow on the walls at some point in the future, because I don't think poplar stains pretty. And staining would be more of a bitch than just painting it.

YEAH, I GOT MY PRIORITIES IN LINE.

I built based on this article in Mother Earth News. And made sure to nail everything together because I don't believe that just wood glue held that guy's together for years with cans on it. Mine's 1'x3ish', because our kitchen is small. It only took me a couple hours to make; the most time was taken up in letting the glue dry enough that I could nail nails in.

TRUFAX If you had any sort of workshop so I didn't have to do all the work on the kitchen floor, then I totally would. I LOVE BUILDING STUFF SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA and book cases are eeeeeeeasy.
