So, basically, I'm pissed that more memers aren't doing getyourwordsout. NO REALLY THIS IS SERIOUSLY BOTHERING ME. NANOMEME IS DEAD AND IT WOULDN'T BE IF YOU GUYS DIDN'T SUCK. >:(

So here, let me try to sell it to you. First off, go read this post.

Look at that list of acceptable writing projects. LOOK AT IT. It's all. Listy. And full of shit you can do. FANFIC COUNTS. SCRIPTS COUNT. ESSAYS COUNT.

THAT'S RIGHT, YOU CAN COUNT YOUR SCHOOLWORK.

And, you know, other stuff, whatever. Basically, the only thing that doesn't count is blog posts. COME ON. I'M SURE YOU ALL WRITE TONS OF NON-BLOG STUFF, RIGHT?

Besides, there are four (COUNT THEM, FOUR) different pledge goals. 200K is the lowest, 350K is the highest.

Do you know what 200K is? That's a whopping 547 words a day.

547 words.

You guys, that's maybe a half hour of writing. MAYBE. I know I can do that in 15 minutes. Surely you can set aside a half hour a day to write? COME ON. THAT'S NOT A LOT.

200K. 547 words/day is nothing. NOTHING. YOU CAN DO THAT. COME ON FOR GOD'S SAKE.

Hell, the 350K that I'm planning on doing is less than a thousand words a day. THAT'S NOTHING. THAT'S A PITTANCE. THAT'S HALF WHAT YOU DID FOR NANO.

547 WORDS PER DAY IS A QUARTER OF WHAT YOU DID FOR NANO.

And who cares if you failed NaNo? This is slower, lower, and easier. And if you don't manage to hit your goal by the end of the year, who fucking cares? You've still written something for a billion days during the year. That's AMAZING. THAT MAKES YOU A WINNER. I mean, in your heart and my heart. Not by the comm rules.

But fuck the comm rules.
