Er, yeah, so. I think I just cut myself off from my family.

Um. How do I go about finding a counselor? The school ones suck, else I'd just go to the health center. So, yeah.

Call the county health department? I'm sure they have to have some sort of mental health equivalent? Then you could always ask at your uni's health center for a referral in town? I know a few of the profs in our Psych department used to do counseling. All else fails, call the Neuman Center see if there's a sane religious who can help?

But yea, start calling around tomorrow. Lots and lots of referrals...

Ask around. Ask anyone and everyone. My two were both refs, one from a family friend and one from my dad. Do a search on ones in the area. There ought to be a bagillion in Boston, ones that maybe end up in articles in papers. Ask the psych department. Ask any student groups involved in therapy (like victims of abuse help groups).

And maybe, yeah. Go find a banker/attorney, just in case, or keep it in the back of your mind. Do the same looking. Just to find out what your options/goals are, and set yourself up.
