I wouldn't be giving you the whole thing, since I've A) not finished it, and B) not finished editing it yet, but I'd send out chapters as I finished them/incorporated other people's edits.

WOW IT'S AMAZING HOW MUCH CALMER I AM ABOUT ANSWERING QUESTIONS WHEN I REALIZE YOU'RE A MEMER.

TBH, whatever you're comfortable with. My basic Theory of Editing is that line-edits remind me what to get rid of as I go through the later chapters and general narrative edits, well. Those are always helpful, you know?

Also, plotwise, since I forgot to add it to the post, it's:

Well it's gonna take forever for me to actually get this publishable, so there'll be plenty of times to jump on the bandwagon in the coming years!

Man, that's true. I don't want to be that person who has all these unfinished novels sitting around because I never bothered to finish any of them!

I think that my goal is going to be to get it finished and ready to find an agent for it by November of next year. i figure that'll give me enough time to send it through a couple editing passes with my flist and get it, well, good. :D

So after this first editing pass, I'll be putting up another post asking for more people who want to go over it, you know?

Got the file! Can't wait to get started reading it. . . I'm flying back to NYC tomorrow, so will work on it on the plane and in the airport--hopefully to get it back to you soon-ish.

(I'm always in a mad frenzy to get beta-crack back on something!)
