Oh self :(

Perhaps, when it's going to be RealFeel: 0 outside, you should, idk, wear shoes and socks? I mean, yes, sandals are comfy, but so are shoes. And socks.

In other news, I just went on the most epic defriending spree I've ever gone on, and holy shit I suddenly don't feel overwhelmed by the idea of reading my flist anymore. I need to do this more often.

Hugs bare feet.

I did that once and got nasty emails. Hope that everyone is kind to you.

Have you been able to settle back into writing, what with all the uni drama you were forced to go through? Here's hoping for warm toes and peace of the writerly mind.

Seconding. . . I want to read more!

[identity profile] the-wanlorn.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
I'm too ashamed to send out the next bit until I finish processing all the edits! I'm almost done with yours :D

And go ahead and send it to edalia <-- NIFTY SPELLING SKILLS if you want! I don't mind at all.

[identity profile] the-wanlorn.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
Haha, no, I'm still completely like "But I don't want to write (or edit) (or think about writing)."

[identity profile] paragraphs.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
It'll come. I know you were more insane than me on the wordcountchoice, lol, but you deserve a few days to get back on your feet. Er, sandals.

I sure hope you don't live in the upper NE...

[identity profile] the-wanlorn.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, the idea of anyone but me knowing what my wordcount is on a monthly basis, and whether I'm behind or ahead or not, just makes me go "ahahahahaaaaaa I'm sorry you think I'm going to write anything ever again you fascist pig. :("

:( I'm in Boston. It's supposed to be 0 tonight. Thankfully, my car is five minutes away, so I shouldn't actually get frostbite. :D:

[identity profile] paragraphs.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
Well, lol I just restarted again last night, but since the words I have will be for the fic after this, I decided to keep them. What I was writing just wasn't working for me right now. I am too far out of practice with writing (been about four years, though before that I was crazy prolific).

Boston. Sandals. *shakes head* At least you have a car! Grin.

[identity profile] the-wanlorn.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
I go shoeless, period, until the weather falls below freezing! At least I have something on now :D? :D?

[identity profile] the-wanlorn.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
I think my toes fell off

[identity profile] carlanime.livejournal.com 2009-01-14 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Brrrrrrrrr.

[identity profile] the-wanlorn.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
I: AM NOT THAT BRIGHT

[identity profile] emiweebee.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
At first I thought you meant you went out without shoes of any sort, and was like WTF barefoot???

[identity profile] the-wanlorn.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
I CONSIDERED IT OKAY ;_;

Well, if you're going to wear sandals, the socks would just get wet and your feet would be colder. That said, I do recommend a layer of wool socks over cotton if you want to do that again. My wool socks tend to be water resistant and I spent at least one winter walking around the snow in Michigan with a pair of mules and multiple layers of socks.

Your poor feets. ;_;

Filters are also useful in this regard. Although not for keeping your feet warm.

My feet feel suddenly cold in sympathy. D:

Not one of the people above is telling you gtfo the internet and do your homework or get good sleep for class. Tip: these people are not your friends, just fellow losers looking for fellow losery company. Defriended the wrong people, didn't you. Go do your homework and get your degree. Forget these losers because they are only thinking of themselves.

lol upset that i cut you

Oops :(

[identity profile] tardbot5000.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
I heard you are a fan of Deadman Wonderland and I see you on my flist frequently, so I finally friended you. Now that I've caught up with things, I realized that my friending probably looks ill-timed. :(

But, hello.

Re: Oops :(

[identity profile] the-wanlorn.livejournal.com 2009-01-15 09:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Suspicious.

I'm so far behind on Deadman Wonderland it's not even funny :( I think I'm going to have to read it all over again from the beginning.

Okay, I know :(

I love the mangaka's art style so much. I wasn't surprised when I realized it was the same guy who did Eureka 7. I remember thinking that "Oh this show would be awesome if it was a different plot and didn't have, you know, Renton".

I always end up having to read some of the previous chapter when the new chapter comes up because I never remember what happens a month ago. :D:

inorite? I'm backreading a bunch of comics that I got behind on (like, the list I have on my LJ is so out of date and I'm just trying to re-catch-up on all of those) and idk what I'm going to do when I don't get immediate fixes anymore.

I mean, jesus, when I get to he manga, the Pluto scans are, what, months in between? At least, [livejournal.com profile] tl__dr doesn't go "HEY NEW PLUTO" for months and months and months.

HI SORRY THIS IS KIND OF INCOHERENT BECAUSE I AM KIND OF HIGH ON ANTI-ANXIETY PILLS RIGHT NOW. I HOPE MOST OF THOSE SENTENCES, AT LEAST, ARE UNDERSTANDABLE.

Re: Oops :(

[identity profile] tardbot5000.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
LOLOL OH BB they are. Which ones? I have more than a passing familiarity with meds, so, yeah I know how that goes :D:

Sometimes I find it more satisfying to wait a few months before catching up with certain mangas, like Blade of the Immortal or Gantz. Reading it 18 pages at a time and then waiting and waiting is no fun - especially if they are monthly. My life is so rough :'(

I feel strangely pleased that you are still my Mutual Friend.

Obviously, the solution is KNIT MOAR SOX
