Scrivener
Holy motherfucking moly, Scrivener's conversion to .doc and .rtf sucks balls. Oh my god what the fuck sort of mess am I looking at? Why do only half of the paragraph breaks work? WHAT IS GOING ON?
Man, that is kind of useless to me. :( So disappointing.
ETA: Oh, no, looks like you can't copy from a word doc and expect all your returns to actually happen. So I need to go through as I read and recopy all of the new lines and sajkldfjl;ksaf;kjlfsad;
Maybe I'll just use it after this manuscript is finished.

(I started reading today, and then had a crisis of how to format my comments and gave up. Will try again!)

RTF + DOC
(Anonymous) 2009-02-13 11:18 am (UTC)(link)I'm the developer of Scrivener. Drop me a line at support AT literatureandlatte DOT com and explain what the problem is and I'll try to help out or see what might be going wrong. Scrivener uses the same RTF exporter as TextEdit, which isn't entirely perfect, but it should do a decent job - I certainly wouldn't expect you to be losing line breaks or other fundamentals such as that...
All the best,
Keith
