My day, in review

1. Discovered I had a Twitter.


2. Talked about robot porn on Twitter.


3. Chatter with cornfields and soleta on Twitter.


4. Hated myself for enjoying Twitter so much


5. Wrote a knock-down drag-out verbal fight. That ended up physical. WTAF Carrie, try solving your problems without using your fists for once. >:(


6. Watched paint dry instead of continuing to the next scene, even though it's all written out in my head and I'm excited for it.


7. Wished for Bobbie's neat-o typewriter.


8. Argued with people on Twitter about why the teeth falling out and alien crazycakesness didn't matter. (Summary: I am a speshul snowflake)


9. Realized that Carrie's emotional growth is basically "gets over hubris" and Ray's emotional growth is basically "gets over manpain by way of judicious beatings from Carrie. Literally."

YYYYY. 5 and 9 are actually related. See, Ray's superpower hinges on him being dirty as all fuck. So he like, can't shower or whatever. WHICH, AS I AM SURE YOU CAN IMAGINE, IS NOT SO POPULAR WITH THE LADIES. So he decided to try to live a ~normal life~ with his semi-longterm girlfriend, right? So while he was playing normal, Carrie was out trying to stop this guy from fucking with Ebola vaccines! AND SHE FAILED ;__;

Now, sixish months later, as the world is coming down around their ears, she's ~confronting Ray~ (accidentally) and originally just shouted at him a lot. But then he started shouting back about how she ~didn't understand~ what it was ~like~ to be him and wah wah wah.

And then, idk, she was mad, and he was mad, so they just naturally started beating on each other. And Carrie is like "MOTHERFUCKER THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU YOU FUCKING BETRAYED ME WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I NEEDED ONE THE ONE TIME IN MY LIFE I HAVE NEEDED YOU" and he's like "BUT I WANTED TO BE NORMAAAAAAAL" and she splits his lip and he gives her a good egg on her head and in the end he's like ":( I'm sorry" and he's not talking about the knot on her head.

I COULD TALK ABOUT THIS ALL DAY BTW.

Initially I didn't "get" Twitter. I didn't see the point or what niche it fills, but after having an account for months I finally got hooked. For me the appeal is reading all those little passing thoughts people have, things that aren't substantial enough for a full blog entry.
