In which I am totally right about my dog.

Sometimes, I look at my dog, and I am like "Yup, self, you were totally right; there's not a hint of border collie in him."

Nope, not a speck of border collie in him.

In fact, he is the least border collie-ish dog I have ever owned.

Even my husky was more of a border collie than him.

And he never, ever lays there all patient-like, watching people go by like they're sheep, and he's a border collie. Because he isn't.

No sir, he does not like to herd things at all.

He's so handsome. It's the markings right?

Our last dog was a big (100 lbs) dog who never barked, had a great sense of humour and would patiently wait for the world to roll his way. So very much not a border collie, but black with white markings (and the cutest dappling on his front legs), even the vet first thought he was part border collie.
