My 100 Days of Spinning Long Draw challenge is not going well. I'm also trying to knit every day and that is going poorly too at the moment. I skipped my meds for one (1) day and now I am in a tailspin. Why are psych meds like this???
It doesn't help that the world at large and the world at small are on fire, I'm sure.
Grem, my best boy, has taken a fork that was used to eat pulled pork from the sink and is carrying it around. He's alternating following Saoirse, my best girl, with it and growling at her with taking a short nap on various pieces of furniture with it still in his mouth. Hilarious. If the floor weren't filthy I would show you a picture.
I suppose I should spin some yarn now. I'm working on getting through 4oz of a white and light pink 50-50 merino silk blend. It's a delight to spin, especially since I'm trying to spin it thin for laceweight yarn. But ughhh I'm still so bad at spinning in general even though I've been doing it for years. Sometimes, you can self teach yourself things easy (knitting). Sometimes, you need to put actual effort into learning and improving (spinning). The latter type of being self taught sucks ass.
