Pain is not the mind killer, work is.
Truly, I am so tired all the time. I'm very anemic and have enlarged lymph nodes, so my doctor is sending me to hematology&oncology (luckily the same department) because she has no idea what's going on. The iron pills aren't fixing the anemia. The enlarged lymph nodes, based on the CT scan, aren't going down. If I have cancer I'm going to be so mad.
I'm pointedly not stressing about it though because there's nothing I can do. I'm waiting on the hematology&oncology department to call me and set up an appointment. Until then...
Spinning is going well. I think I'm getting better at spinning an even single? Or at least at pausing to fix bits that are too thick. idk. Knitting is going less well but I don't want to talk about how fucking long the rows for this shawl are lmao
The dogs freed themselves from the bedroom last night like the assholes they are and trashed the house a lil. But whatever, the house is already trashed because I'm just too damn fatigued to clean anything ever. I need someone to come help me get it back to a Base State so I can hire someone to come in and clean every couple weeks, but alas. I don't live near people I trust to do that.
I've asked for two weeks off in July so I can go visit Shoi&Em in California. I'm going to drive across the dang country and I'm not going to let anything stop me this time. Every time I try to go visit them something catastrophic happens before I can leave, so. Last time, it was mice eating my car up bad enough that the insurance totaled it. If mice eat up my new car I'm going to lose it.
Okay, there are my disjointed thoughts for the day. I'm going to go back to reading Knitting in the Old Way now so I can get better at designing my own knitwear given everything on ravelry is stunningly boring nowadays. God people's taste in knitwear has turned to shit.
