Challenge #4: Rec The Contents Of Your Last Page
Any website that you like, be it fanfiction, art, social media, or something a bit more eccentric!
You know, I didn't think I had anything to rec for this. And I don't, really, I spend my time on AO3, bsky, mastodon (blorbo.social is the instance I'm on), and ravelry.
HOWEVER.
Two things to rec:
If you are into porny fandom bingo games and either Playboyy or Heated Rivalry, BOY HAVE I GOT A SITE FOR YOU. My friend admins it, but I built Fandom Bingo for him. I don't know about plans for future bingo games, but the two that are up there are great.
(Uh. If it's broken. Please let me know. I think I fixed all the bugs, but who knows. It's a website. There will always be bugs.)
SECOND:
Hey remember geocities? And then the whole thing was cruelly shut down and we lost tons of fan websites? WELL. There's this thing called neocities now and I have a webbed site there where I am slowly uploading my fic. Slowly. So very slowly. It's only got a handful at the moment, mostly A-Team (2010) but whatever. It's growing. Slowly.
Oh, and THIRD:
I haven't joined it yet but there's a fic webring that exists. So, yanno. Have fun with that everyone!

I do follow AO3, since I have a few friends who post there. And while I don't fic much, I do have a tiny handful of written bits that can be considered fanfic. Maybe one day I'll upload them. Mmmmmmaybe.

For real for real, as long as your expectations are tempered*, it's such an amazing dopamine boost to post fic and look at it later and be like "they like me... they really like me!!" yanno?
* Tempered as in: the response you get depends on the size of the fandom/amount of activity, and there's a sweet spot for max comments where it comes to both. Like, I was over the moon when I got one (1) single comment on a fic I posted for a non-existent fandom. I quit posting OFMD fic almost entirely because the response to my longfic felt so low compared to posting in Lucifer fandom (mid-sized). Like, it sounds, idk, mercenary or whatever, but the return on investment (time) (emotions) for posting OFMD stuff was just. So low, given my expectations based on the size of the fandom, that I just stopped. Had I had lower expectations, I likely would've kept posting my shit, yanno? It wouldn't feel as pointless.
I forget where I was going with this. Post your stuff!

But I should still post the stuff. Just to say that I did.
