The Latest Psuedo-Intellectual Question

The posed question:
If the world were flat, would the water rush over the edge? If it did, where would it be replenished from?

The answers:
Tom: naw dude, thats what concrete barriers are for | the rain!!! | nire?
Crabs: oh i know this one | it wouldn't rush off | it would drip off slowly like water from an icicle! | anyway why is it rushing anywhere? | it's the ocean, it's got nowhere else to go.

if the world were flat, then that would imply that there is a greater mass beneath it, attracting the water down. if this were the case, then when the water evaporated, it would move back up to the 'earth' and rain down like some sort of sexy goddess.
