Hmmmm

Today I learned that it feels good to have someone to hold onto when you cry.

Eeeeeeen-ter-est-ing...

In other news: I just refound one of Anne McCaffrey's poems from her Pern novels, my favorite poem out of all the ones she wrote for them:

Harper your song has a sorrowful sound,
Thought the tune was written as gay.
Your voice is sad and your hands are slow
and your eye meeting mine turns away.

It made me want to go reread the series. Even though I know I'm going to end up sobbing near the end of what she has written when Robinton dies.

I love how my favorite characters are never the main characters and THEY ALWAYS FUCKING DIE.

:-P

In OTHER other news: I just finished my orange soda and I miss it.

So, I'm going to sit here and veg until Jon comes online, then finish my essay for history (which will take about 30 minutes, as I recently discovered). Then go to bed. And hope I feel better tomorrow.

There is one book of Madame McCaffrey's which features Robinton as the main character. It follows the Master-Harpers life throughout his childhood and on to his receiving the position of Master-Harper. I cant recall its exact name at the moment, but I believe its something like The Harper Hall. If anyone wishes to chat about the series I love to meet other bookworms. Oh, and I was hoping to find the music to this particular tune, if anyone knows it. Email me at cloakedfigure14@hotmail.com

I believe it's called The Masterharper of Pern. If I weren't such a lazy ass, I'd get up and check my bookcase.

At least, that's the only Robinton-centric book that I own.
