B-Term

*Jingle jingle jingle*

What's this I hear?

::cocks head and listens to the jingling and the sound of people talking and singing grow louder::

Something seems to be coming my way!

*Rumble roll clatter grumble*

That sounds like weels rolling across the ground... I can see it now! It's The Bandwagon! I think I'm gonna jump on for the ride. See y'all later!

Okay, but seriously. This term's classes.

Elements of Writing
Well, so far it appears to be a w00shw00sh class. I did a half-ass job on a piece of HW during class because I'd totally forgotten about it and it was returned with the comment incomplete - shows a lot of thought bu questions weren't answered (see syllabus). Did it in 10 minutes during class... Thanks Teach. My opinion on the class is somewhere between Crabs' and Tom's. I hate the Process and all the work it entails that the teacher's making us go through. But on the other hand, it looks like it will be a fun class with good discussions and I like the teacher. So I guess it will take another week or so for me to make a final Like/Hate decision.

Object-Oriented Design Concepts
aka Java. I really like the teacher. He seems like a cool guy and he's okay at explaining things. I get Java, so the programming piece won't be all that difficult. I guess I can't really form a "can I do this or am I gonna be freaking all term?" opinion until I go to lab and do a couple more homeworks. But, yeah, so far I like it. Krishan's in it, too. Luckily, no homework partners. :-D

Calc 2
First day was icky and confusing and I didn't like it and thought I was gonna have to teach myself Calc2. But after two more classes, I get the stuff and the teacher doesn't seem that bad at explaining things as I originally thought.

So, I guess overall, my classes are still in the "we'll see" stage.

I still hate school, though. Despise it. I don't want to go to college. Or any more classes.

well at least your calc class is better than mine. as became apparent when we were doing hw together, my teacher has taught us NOTHING.

i think you'll like elements.

skool just smells. i want it to be summer again so i can sleep all day and stay up all night and not have to deal with people, classes, profs, or mornings.

Yar. Seriously, switch into my class. Hell, I'll even come to skool two hours early on Wednesdays so you have someone to hang out with between your chem lab and the calc lab. :-P

At least we get an incredibly long summer this year...

Calc - ugh. You know, I never got past Algebra II....and I found out tonight, my daughter, my nine year old, fourth grade daughter, is already in Algebra I. I didn't know they even taught Algebra in elementary school. (although I DID know my daughter is a genius :-D)

Elements of Writing sounds pretty cool though

Technically, I should love calc cuz I loved algebra and calc is just "cooler algebra".

But it BITES MONKEY ASS.
