So.

I'm getting all excited for NaNoWriMo.

I have a car, so I can go to meet-ups this year. Last year, I was on my own.

I have the whole month of November to work this year, as opposed to the 10 (or so) days I had last year.

I have a full plot, a bunch of characters, and I know where I'm taking it this year. All I had last year was the first sentence and a vague idea of what it might be about.

I've been chilling in the forums lately and just scoping things out. There's a bunch of little kids (aka, people 16 and under) that are extremely annoying. A bunch of older people who are pretentious and snooty. And then there's a bunch of wicked cool people.

I want to start writing. But I can't. Not 'til Monday. I don't want to wait 'til Monday. I want to have an excuse to go buy books and such. I want to ask Mum for money so I can go to B&N tomorrow and check out the writing books and start on my SISP.

I'm not even all that upset over losing most of what I already had written. Because I'm all excited for the 'WriMo. Someone made a lovely Excel spreadsheet for the participants that tracks everything for you. All you have to do is enter in how many words you wrote and it does all this fun stuff.
